With its lakes and ponds, woodlands, and abundant wildlife,
the Monadnock area is a favorite vacation spot
to just relax and enjoy nature.
The area offers fishing, hiking, swimming, kayak/canoeing,
field and forest recreation, biking, skating, skiing and more.
It is rich in historic places to visit
dating back to the early 1700 and 1800s.
The Monadnock Region is home to
the Cathedral of the Pines and Rhododendron State Park.
